It was a fun learning experience for me as a mentor, and hopefully for Sara as well. I learned a lot about my buddy, including her interests and about her country. Keri (mentor)

I really enjoyed having an e-mail buddy from Poland because I got to learn many things about the country and my buddy. Amanda (mentor)

I liked exchanging e-mails with my mentor because it was different from the "traditional" program. It was also fun to respond to e-mails and write about things that we are interested in. Max (Germany)

I felt the project overall was very effective to both mentor and mentee. Through the e-mails, I was able to establish a strong relationship that allowed me to critique my student's work effectively and efficiently. Sean (mentor)

I especially enjoyed working on this project. Yu Mi's e-mails were very interesting and I enjoyed learning about her background and her experiences in America thus far. Melissa (mentor)

As a secondary education and Spanish major, this project was perfect for me. I though it was a great opportunity to speak with a student via e-mail and not only did I learn about her culture, but I also made a friend. Also I'm a firm believer that grammar is learned in context, so I hope this helped Daniella. Jillian (mentor)
